Went out to Bromma to tan and swim with my dear friend Julia a week ago. beautiful weather! has some elderberry-juice (fläder) with ice. I love it. It reminds me of all the summers we spent as kids at our summerhouse on Ornö island.
We went back to the city for some afterwork with Emma, Nathalie, Julia's boyfriend Patrik and our friends at Josefinas, an outdoor lounge by the water at beautiful Djurgården island.

I'm getting used to this being on vacation- stuff now. I've had alot of fun, we went out 11 girls together last friday. First to Utecompaniet for Watermelon Martinis and then on to Gården, a new outdoor lounge and then onwards to a club. a real girls night out! Later this month a friend of mine has rented a boules court at The BouleBar but today I'm organizing at home and looking at new furniture and a new fridge online.
And I really miss having my magazine subscriptions! I just realised that today. have been buying them from the stores but it's not the same feeling as having them fall down on the doormat all new and wrapped. And then you can just dissapear into the magazine for an hour or two. At tidningskungen.se they also have digital magazines! first time I've seen a subscriptionsite have that. been flipping through their titles and foudn a few interesting.
Going to Värmdö this afternoon I think. Sit in the garden and read a book and drink lemonade!
Went to an event by Svensk Form, (swedish design association) in their cool event room The Library at Skeppsholmen, stockholm. alot of interesting people there, and the chatwalk was about design of course. a great event, alot of fun, even had a wonderful champagne tasting by Franska Bolaget. Found a new favorite champagne!
Svensk Forms CEO Ewa Kumlin, who is very famous on the international design scene (in the middle). She has a very warm swedish accent that everybody loves!

CEO Ted Hesselbom from Röhsska Museet (in the middle) had alot of interesting things to say!

Had a great weekend! how was yours? I went out to my family on Värmdö to make an asian mixed barbecue dinner for my family. It went great, even though the grill was brand new and I never used it before. I had a lovley, quiet time just having a coffee on the terass saturday morning and then went to my friend Jim's club together with some old and new friends.
Met my Gothenburg-girls! (see below) for lunch on sunday and we ended up shopping and taking a stroll down to Copacabana by the water at Hornstull where I live. Went down to Reimers afterwards, a little island next to hornstull, to eat dinner in the park, looking over the canal and all the boats. Thanks for a great weekend!

My office is located at Telefonplan, a part of Stockholm which the last years has become a cluster or hub for design, art, coreography and creation. We have our office at Konstfack, university college of arts, crafts, design, fourth floor, which is dedicated to creative companies, The Konstfack University Alumni, An incubator for creative start-ups and us of course, Generator. I took some pictures of it yesterday to show you.

I really like these spacious old factory-building. the light is fantastic inside and gives a lot of room to think and move.

the actual office room flooded with light. Love the light from the large windows
Open spaces outside our office to network, lunch or have meetings.
I've been alone at the office from 8:30 am until about 10 am. soon going out to buy lunch. After that swedish jewelrydesigner Drakenberg Sjölin showed up, as well as Karin Robling, product and jewelry designer. we had a nice chat at lunch together.
Stockholm feel a bit like a mix of italy and iceland right now. burning hot with the smell of summer flowers and then suddenly, an cold wind which would make polarbears shiver...
anyhow, it's been some drama-days but hopefully those are over. I've had the pleasure of being able to work outside with my Macbook this week!

my computer has feet-wings?
Had a wonderful dinner before Midsummer. we ate at the italian restaurant La cuisina at Kocksgatan/Renstiernas Gata together with the family. I ate delicious pheasant ("Fasan" for swedish readers) and we had alot of fun.

My friend who is an actress has just been filmed for swedish television about their new play, a modern version of Midsummer Night's Dream. watch here
