Went to visit the leather tanning factory who is going to produce my designed eco leather laptop briefs. As I'm very consious about quality I want to use Swedish fine quality organically tanned leather. And the leather tanner I use is also used by other brands like Hermés, Louis Vuitton and ACNE. A whole day spent looking at the process, raw material, metal details and leather qualities and finish. Inspiring!

Currently sitting at Wayne's Coffee at Sveavägen with my new Editors assistant. Finally updating my RSS-reader on my iPhone so that I can follow my favorite fashion- and editorsblogs again when having a minute over. Have a lot of business economy to read through.
The sun is shining through the leaves above the coffeeshop. really feel like autumn now. I'm longing for my trip to London with frieinds later this autumn.
A month of hard work and play has gone by
It been about over a month since I last wrote something! Crazy. Or maybe not. Because during that time I have:
Started on a new educational program: International Buyer
Started on the entrepenurial course at PricewaterhouseCooper and found a "fashionmaffia" which I meet up with once a week to talk fashionbusiness.
Found an excellent supplyer for my new brand
Relaunched a huge fashionsite, www.fashionway.se, where I've hired new staff, managed a new site, started 3 new blogs and somehow, had time to drink tons of coffee. (I'm both the Editor-in-chief and projectmanager for Fashionway)
Had total sellthrough on my cocktaildresses and obi-belts at House of Eco (Ekovaruhuset) in Stockholm. They sold so fast they called me within a month, desperately wanting more of them! (it felt kind of crazy but fun.)
I've also:
Cleaned out two apartments and moved two times (two apartments)
Got a new iPhone 3GS
Bought new cocktaildresses
Watch three seasons of Smallville (why?!)
Started Couple-Workout with my James Dean as I don't have time to go to the gym anymore. (workouts based on a couple working out together, using each other as personal trainers basically.)
Said goodbye to three friends moving abroad.
Promise I will start to update more often!

Life can be pretty crazy sometimes. Atleast if you are me. From one week to another, I'm suddenly Editor in chief and projectmanager at fashion and shoppingcommunity: Fashionway. As the new projectmanager, I'm giving the community and the site a total make-over with completely new features, new design and events. I'm taking Fashionway to a new level, making it faster, prettier, more enjoyable and useful but also alot more fun!
So from around september I will stop blogging here as I'll be moving over to my Editorsblog at Fashionway by then. But for now, you can still follow me here and on twitter. My twitter is xuemeirhodin.
Today I'm working from home, sitting on my balcony with a wineglass filled with lots and lots of ice and lovley sour-sweet cranberryjuice.

Logos and cranberryjuice
I've been sitting most of the afternoon working on logo, businesscarddesign, koncept and website layout for my new project. I'm at home listening to an O.C. (the tv-show) Spotidy-playlist with a wineglass filled with cranberryjuice standing on the table next to me. Perfect when you don't want to drink alcohol but still want that friday evening-feeling! I'm working on layout for the website while waiting for my lasagne to cool down a bit.
Tomorrow I'm having Sunday Brunch with a group of friends but before (and after) that I'll continue on my work for my monday morning meeting.
James Dean and I are so sweet for a horrormovie right now that we are going to try to rearrange all mediaequipment in the apartment just to get the right sound and feeling. We're gonna watch Friday the 13th, the 2009 remake which has got a a 5.9 at IMDB which I consider pretty good for a horror-remake.
